Cup Features :-

The Spout
Recent research by speech development experts has sound that wide drinking spout, commonly found on may Sippy cups, can cause physical and speech development problems in children.

Their findings suggest those straw-shaped spouts are better for developing mouths, so that’s how we designed it.

The no-peak valve inside the spout is made of clean, non-toxic silicone, when children suck on The Safe Sippy spout, liquid flows, when they don’t it doesn’t.

The Lid
We designed the lid so that it’s slightly wider than the cup. If your child drops The Safe Sippy, that lip will help to protect the stainless steel bottle from denting. (We really did think of a lot of stuff to make our cup better). The inner sleeve is made of #5 plastic and is completely free of Bisphenol A and Phthalates.

The Waist
We tapered the waist and put ribbing on the sleeve. Both features help little hands hold the cup once your child insists they are too big for handles (Or because they get lost when your child grabs the handles off the kitchen counter and losses them behind the fridge, where they wind up next to that three-month-old sprig of broccoli your child threw under there that you thought he ate, We know your know what we are talking about).

The Sleeve
That rubbery sleeve surrounding the cup is made of thermo plasticized rubber, or TPR .The TPR material provides insulation when you our cold liquids into the cup on hot summer days. IT also makes it easier for your child drops his or her Safe Sippy cup, the sleeve acts as a cushion to protect the stainless steel and your toes, should be foolish enough to wear sandals around your two year old. Just another reason we call it The Safe Sippy.

The Body
The Safe Sippy body is the most important element of our cup. Made of durable and lightweights medical grade stainless steel, the 11oz Safe Sippy bottle is non-leaching and toxin free. No endocrine disruptors of estrogen stimulators. No Bisphenol A, No Chemicals suspected of contributing to early this of latent that. (You can read about that in the “Plastic” section) unlike plastic sippies. It’s okay to put The Safe Sippy in the dishwasher. You can also leave water in you cup overnight. In a hot car or under the sun, at the park without having to refill it with clean water. Not that we recommend that. Kids don’t like drinking hot water any more than you do.
The bottom line is this Stainless is safe. So now you can rest easy, knowing that when your children are using The Safe Sippy cup, what you put in is what they get out.
Nothing more and nothing else.

The Handles
The handles help little hands hand onto the cup. Once your child is big enough to grip the bottle using the tapered waist, the handles are removable and when little hands are covered in the cool new organic spinach and apple puree from Whole Foods because your child decided to shampoo the dog with it, the nubs make it easier to grip the handles.
